BRIDGE REPAIR ON HIGHWAY# 83
14/12/2011
The Huron County Highways Department will be repairing the bridge on Highway# 83 between Ausable Line and Parr Line starting December 15, 2011. The bridge will be narrowed to 1 lane and traffic signals will be installed. This process will likely take at least 2 months to complete. An update will be provided here, when the bridge is back to 2 lanes of traffic.

The Huron OPP is encouraging citizens to dial 511 to receive up-to-date road conditions. This is an automated bilingual service providing travellers with road information pertaining to construction zones and closures on provincially maintained highways. The County of Huron also plans to place a link on their website so everyone can stay aware of the winter road conditions.
